Independent popups
Every copy can create a separate popup with stacking, auto-destroy, Pin, Copy, Unpin, drag, and resize for pinned cards.
ClipAnchor turns copied text, images, and files into calm desktop cards. Pin a snippet above your work, recall local history, protect favorites, and keep runtime data beside the app.
Keep a useful snippet visible while the current app keeps focus.
Copying is fast, but finding, keeping, and reusing copied content is usually not. ClipAnchor adds a small desktop layer for the content that matters.

Search local history by text or type, then pin any record back to the desktop without copying it again.
Favorite records remain visible in normal history, appear in their own view, and are kept during regular cleanup.
Launch at startup without showing the main window. Tray, clipboard monitoring, and storage continue silently in the background.
History, settings, resources, exports, and rotated logs stay in the app-local data folder for simple backup and migration.
Dark, light, and system themes sync across the main window and popup windows, with scale and animation controls.
ClipAnchor stays out of the way until copied content needs to stay visible, be found again, or be protected from cleanup.
Text, images, files, folders, and mixed file selections are captured by the local clipboard service.
Cards appear without stealing focus and auto-hide actions until you hover or interact.
Pinned cards stay above other windows and can be copied, edited for text, favorited, moved, resized, or unpinned.
Use history filters, favorites, JSON/CSV export, age cleanup, and log management from Settings.
ClipAnchor is built as a desktop utility, not a cloud clipboard. Sensitive content filtering, pause controls, and local logs help keep behavior understandable when you need to troubleshoot.
Light mode uses local rules to avoid storing likely passwords, keys, IDs, tokens, and similar text.
Logs record service, tray, popup, shortcut, data, and error events. Clipboard body text is not written to logs.
Starting ClipAnchor again activates the existing main window instead of leaving another long-running process.
